Minnesotans United for All Families is a new group formed to defeat the Minnesota Constitutional amendment that would permanently ban the right to marry for GLBT. The group is a collaboration effort of independent organizations, including Outfront MN. This is the second time I am mentioning this group, because I think it’s an important organization to be apart of if you are living in Minnesota. I highly encourage you to go to their website and sign up so you can stay informed and learn of upcoming volunteer opportunities. I also recommend liking them on Facebook so you can follow what they are doing on a daily basis.
For all of you non-Minnesotans reading, I am including this great website I came across today. The website is called Why Marriage Matters and it gives you an emotional look into the lives of real gay and lesbian couples. If you have time I recommend checking them out and reading their stories. I loved Maribeth and Jean’s story and Kate and Nicole’s story, what beautiful couples and inspiring stories.
